Daniel Kramer
Triathlete
Dan started cycling when he turned 40 in 2000. After years of cycling and running with his friends to stay in shape, he decided to attempt duathlons and triathlons. After seeing some good results, Dan decided to hire Coach Pete in February 2008 to help him take his performance to a new level and to get prepared for his first Half-Ironman triathlon. The goal was to have Coach Pete guide the workouts and plan the efforts so that Dan could fit it all into a very busy schedule that includes work, family and non-profit leadership activities.

Thanks to Pete, Dan completed the Nutmegman Half-Ironman in September and he hit a number of PR’s in a duathlons and triathlons. In 2008, he took 2nd in the Toga Duathlon age group and 4th in age group at the West Point Triathlon.

In 2009, after a year of working with Pete, Dan’s swim times have improved dramatically, his run times are the fastest he’s done and his bike wattage is the highest he’s ever achieved. The goals for 2009 are Olympic distance triathlons and faster sprint triathlons.
